Friday: A Strong Start
We kicked off the weekend with a resounding win in the Sub Semi Final of the Phoenician Cup. Facing Ming Yun, our team secured a decisive victory with a score of 7:5. This match set the tone for the days to come, boosting our confidence and energy.

Saturday Morning: A Dramatic Comeback
Our 18-goal team faced Limitless in the Indian Empire Shield. The match began with Limitless taking a strong lead, leaving us trailing 2:6 after the first four chukkers. However, our determination never wavered. In an astounding comeback, we pushed the game into overtime and clinched the win with a final score of 7:6. This victory was a testament to our team's resilience and teamwork.

Saturday Afternoon: Another Victory
Buoyed by our morning success, we headed to Guards Polo Club for our 4:00 PM appointment against Oriflamme at Cirencester. The momentum from the morning carried us through, and we won the Queen Mother Trophy Final with a score of 7:4. It was a remarkable performance that showcased our skill and strategic play.

Sunday: Finishing Strong
The weekend culminated in another triumph as we took on Kilnwood Park in the Sub Final of the Phoenician Cup. Despite the challenges, we emerged victorious with a score of 7:5.5. This win rounded off our weekend on a high note, leaving us proud of our achievements.

At the end of the 48th New Zealand Polo Open high goal final held at Auckland Polo Club on Sunday February 16th, team Brinks (Steve van den Brink, Henry Batchelor, Nick Keyte and JP Clarkin) was awarded the Standing Rock Fair Play Award for demonstrating exceptional conduct, sportsmanship and horsemanship throughout the competition.
