Philipp Müller Wins the Berenberg German Polo Masters 2025 for Team Lucid Motors

Held from 30th July – 3rd August 2025 at Polo Club Sylt, The Berenberg German Polo Masters 2025 was the second location for the Standing Rock World Tour, and a highlight of the international polo calendar this year.

The tournament was part of the German Polo Tour for the first time, welcoming more new teams and players than ever before, and marking a milestone in the history of the event. Despite challenging weather conditions, spectators were treated to polo played at the highest level with a family-friendly atmosphere.

Six teams competed throughout the five-day, 8-goal tournament, with team Lucid Motors - Standing Rock Patron and Founder Philipp Müller (0), Ralph Robson (0), Tom Brodie (5) & Charles Cooney (3) - securing the title with a 7-6 win against Zuckerhut & Matterhorn - Vanessa Schockemöhle (0), Sebastian Schneberger (0), Patrick Maleitzke (4) & Cristobal Durrieu (4).

Ralph Robson of team Lucid Motors was named Most Valuable Player and Lala Laplacette (Berenberg Team) was presented with the Fair Play Award.

Philipp, who visited Sylt for the first time this year, commented: “We’re absolutely delighted [to have won] and thoroughly enjoyed our week on Sylt. A wonderful and very special place. I’m sure we’ll be back next year.”
